Typically, the 100 Mbps tier includes model PW6, the 250 Mbps and 500 Mbps tiers include PW7, while 1 Gbps and higher tiers include PW8. Each of these gateways supports DOCSIS 3.1 which is employed in 100% of Cox’s service areas. PW6 uses WiFi 5, PW7 employs WiFi 6, while PW8 has the latest WiFi 6E technology.

2023年4月2日 · If you want PW7 or PW8 and it cost $14 to rent a month or you can get your own modem and router too. Do not buy used Cox equipment off eBay or Goodwill. I would highly recommend buying an ARRIS Surfboard SB8200 from Amazon. This is what I use with Cox, along with my own router and everything works great. Buy ur own from Amazon or somewhere else.
