2015年7月27日 · Flex Seal is by far the best product I’ve found for waterproofing a paper mache sculpture. As long as your sculpture has no holes in it, a couple coats of Flex Seal can waterproof it completely. And you can easily paint over it; spray paint, acrylic, etc.

2022年11月1日 · I made this 10ft alligator out of egg cartons and paper mache, to keep ducks out of my pool! IT worked- He just floats on styrofoam and is NOT waterproof- (also no legs) His teeth, fashioned from hot glue. His head bobbles and his body worms around, when the water makes him move. I made him in sections and connected them with pegs.

Lay 2 layers of toilet paper/tissue paper ALL OVER your alligator. The tissue will soak onto the alligator in a minute or two. Use your paint brush and some more glue/water solution to get the toilet paper wetter when necessary and into all the crevices.
