You have a few options. I would suggest turning off hidden lines in your view. This will make the left side of your view correct.

If the section line does not completely cut through the bounding box of the model in the view, you will create a partial section view. If you are creating a section view of an assembly, or if the model contains a rib feature, set options in the Section View dialog box.

A partial view should only be used to show pertinent features not described by true projection in other views on the drawing. They are used when you want to zero in on the model to detail out a feature or set of features but to simplify the drawing by removing all non-necessary geometry from the view that is already detailed out in other views.
