The Volkswagen Passat (B4) is a large family car which was produced by German manufacturer Volkswagen from 1993 to 1997. Despite being designated B4, the car was not an all-new model, but instead a heavily facelifted B3 Passat.

The fourth generation Volkswagen Passat, known as the B4, was introduced in 1993. While heavily facelifted and improved from its predecessor, the B4 was not an all new model. The B4 generation was available as a sedan or station wagon and was offered with inline 4 or VR6 engines. Built until 1997, the B4 was replaced by the B5 Passat.
