The Village of Paynton is located in Western Saskatchewan, Canada, within the R.M. 470, Rural Municipality of Paynton. It was incorporated into a village in 1907. The first settlers were Barr colonists who left the Lloydminster Barr group, went East and cleared their own land for farming.
