2023年3月12日 · PBO2 Explanation Request Hey, I've found that with a large PBO2 negative curve optimizer (all core -30) and high boost override (+200), my 7600x all core effective frequencies will drop to 545MHz ( absolute frequency ) during high load situations.

Hands down, I think this might be the best PBO2 / Curve Optimizer Guide to date! Just a small heads up: the current OCCT Beta can also show CPU errors per core, so you dont need to slam into a system crash to find the limits.

2021年2月18日 · To determine the base performance from which to make your adjustments, simply enable PBO2 then set power limits to 'motherboard' and scalar to '1x'. After rebooting, launch HWinfo64 and scroll down to the section indicating the PPT, EDC, and TDC limit percentages. While running Cinebench multicore, one of these limits will reach 100%.

2022年10月6日 · I set PBO2 Tuner to -20 on all cores and noticed that my voltage, temps and power comsumption are higher than without PBO2. The same happens with -15 on all cores. 2023年8月28日 · PBO2 has a curve optimizer for both the CPU and the iGPU/GFX. I used the PBO2 curve optimizer to adjust the all-core CPU to -15 and the iGPU/GFX to -10. PBO2 negative curve CPU settings are more efficient than stock settings; they improve Cinebench R23 scores while consuming the same or less power.

With the PBO2 Tuner tool however, I'm now currently running 120 PPT, 75 TDC, 110 EDC, with -20 on all cores. Final score is 14,808 (1% from stock), with a max temp of 82.5 C (for comparison, same setting without PBO2 Tuner was 14,388 and 89.5 C). May tweak it further some day, but haven't felt a need to yet.
