2023年2月23日 · The OSCE supported the ninth annual meeting of the Permanent Conference of Organized Crime Prosecutors (PCOCP), held on 22 and 23 February in Belgrade, Serbia. The meeting gathered 25 prosecutors from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, and Slovenia.

PCOCP is an informal co-operation network established in 2016 through an initiative of the OSCE Mission to Serbia. The network is instrumental in facilitating exchange of information on asset recovery among pS in South-Eastern Europe and beyond.

The PCOCP network connects 14 organized crime prosecution offices from 13 countries from the region and the European Union – Austria, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, and Slovenia.

The event highlighted PCOCP achievements over the last 5 years and the use of the Permanent Conference for addressing cross-border co-operation and best practices in investigations and prosecutions of organized crime in the OSCE region. Participants also welcomed Austria’s intention to become the PCOCP’s 13th member.
