2013年8月4日 · Pentax K-50 Review Introduction. The Pentax K-50 is an upper entry-level DSLR announced in June, 2013, as a replacement for the Pentax K-30. The K-50 went on sale worldwide in early July. In the US, $699 will get you the camera body, while $779 will get you the camera plus a 18-55mm WR kit lens.

The K-50 is also capable of capturing 12-bit RAW files. This same sensor (with minor adaptations) has can also be found in earlier DSLR models, including the K-5 and K-30 from Pentax and the D5100 and D7000 from Nikon. All four of these cameras have received praise for their exceptional image quality, so we expect the K-50 to do the same.

Even though the K-50 has a more rounded external appearance that makes it look different, the way it handles and feels in your hand is the same as the K-30. Beneath the rounded external styling, the K-50's SD card door has the same shape as that of its predecessor.

Over time, however, the K-50 will end up being a much better value than the K-30, and we commend Pentax for adding weather-sealing to the DA L 18-55mm kit lens without increasing its price.
