2013年6月22日 · With X-5 I found out that with the provided cable data transfer is much faster than with my reader, I probably have some configuration issue here. I plug the cable to camera first (which is off) and the other end to a running PC.

2013年6月19日 · As calsan suggested, I always use my card reader on my laptop to read the images off my X-90 (the predecessor to the X-5). Just for the heck of it, I tried the USB cable, and my laptop (running Windows 7) recognized the X-90 immediately, by model name too. It auto-installed the device driver and that worked fine.

2012年12月29日 · The flaw is repeatable, identifiable and fixable, but this unit's been out since 09/12 and there's been no firmware updates. Even finding the camera on the Pentax/Ricoh sites is next to impossible (this forum doesn't even have a "X-5" for "what kind of Pentax do you own!").
