2011年3月12日 · Super Blue works better on a polished surface. Perma Blue will streak and may take more than one or two passes on a polished surface. I use a Q-tip to apply to a small area. Let it sit for about a minute and wipe it off with a damp piece of cloth and when I'm satisfied, I oil it.

2011年6月21日 · Cold blues can and DO leave permanent stains in the original bluing. Because of the acid in cold blue, the cold blue will attack the original blue. This is why you have to be extremely careful when touching up scratches on a blued gun. The cold blue will get on the original hot blue and leaves a stain around the area the cold blue contacted.

2019年10月18日 · A 2oz tube will last a long time for touch up scratches.....and the longer you leave it on before cleaning off the Perma Blue, the darker it will get..... you may have to do two applications.
