If the provider is removing, cleaning and doing a reinsert, thats 99211-99215. If the provider is removing and inserting a brand new pessary, you can code the 57160 and the E&M code.

2013年2月7日 · Can someone answer this: If a patient comes to the office for a pessary check I know we would bill that with an E/M visit. However, if the patient comes in wiho has a pessary and gets a replacement pessary (a new one) how would that be billed? Would it still be an E/M or could we bill for a pessary insertion and bill for the new pessary?
