2014年11月7日 · Just a smooth palm sized rock works! As long as its cleaned and sanitized you can get one anywhere! I live in an apartment complex so there arent really a whole lot of areas I could find them outside so I just bought one at the pet store in the reptile/fish area.

I put a rock in the bottom tray of their cage because I wanted to wear down those sharp young rat claws (ouch!) and noticed they pee on it, I was litter training at the time but they would only poop in the traytray and pee everywhere else. so I put the rock in the litter tray and hey presto! no more stinky fleece!

2015年10月25日 · That was what I thought. The main reason I asked was one of the girls at the Bosley's up the street said she had them for her rats (but this is also the girl that said boy rats don't need to climb and a single level was fine for them) and that they required it.

2011年8月20日 · The tip of my rats tail (about 2-3 inches) has gotten rock hard. Its stuck in a slightly curled position and it feels like hard plastic. Its almost like you could just snap it right off. It still has fur and skin in this area. It doesn't seem to be causing him pain. A little history, he and his cage mate were sick a couple weeks ago.

2010年4月29日 · Pete is a beige hooded. Not quite markings, but an awful lot of white. I know high white blazes are a major risk for megacolon but his face is solid beige. I feed them a base of Kaytee Pro-Health lab blocks, but I have just ordered ten pounds of Teklan 8604 and a grain mix. I am going to be mixing Suebee's this weekend.
