He just knows exactly where to place his kick, snare, and hi hat against the guitars, bass and vocals, to make the band and the music sound awesome and huge. Phil Rudd is truly one of a kind.

2018年1月23日 · How good was Phil? Way better than you'd think. Its easy to dismiss his drumming as simple, but play along on drums sometime. His fills and hits are in really weird places, and his groove is very hard to cop. And he's solid as a rock. Perfect for that band.

2020年3月1日 · Then there’s the delay before reverb thing that Phil is doing in this thread which is to add the “drip” sound that the 63 reverb model doesn’t really have (and most other digital spring emulations suffer from a similar problem). I’ve generally used something from 150-200 for that if I remember correctly.
