2009年4月17日 · The pig louse is quite large and you should have no problem seeing them if the pigs are infested. If you get some permethrin insecticide concentrate (typically 10% permethrin) take about 3 ml or so in a syringe and just squirt it down the middle of their backs. The pig lice will be gone by the time the sunsets if you treat in the morning.

2018年1月22日 · When I've had issue with pig lice I've used a pyretherin based powder. Pyretherin is the active ingredient. They sell the powder for cows or horses, buy the cow version - crazy horse people will pay too much for everything.

Or you could just have a pig roast now and pick up another feeder. Get you and your buddies drunk and full of pork, no ER from drunken knife slips while wrestling a mean drunk pig, good times.

2015年4月5日 · Not sure about mites but DE has worked great on hog lice (although it took about 4 weeks & multiple applications to get rid of them). If I found a patch of a few lice together, I would put vasoline on my fingers and scoop them up off the pig. That way she got immediate relief from some of the bloodsuckers.
