Jan 18, 2017 · I have a copy I bought a few years ago and it covers 2 pill through 16 pill. it is too large to send in a email since it is about 350MB in size. I have never been able to pull just one file out of it. it has good pics and all the schematics to do any amp.

Nov 9, 2008 · So to get the rated watts [1600 watts]you would have to drive the 16 harder than 80 watts. Here we are talking about driving a 16 pill with 80 watts compared to the advertised 1x4 drive levels. It seems unreal. Even Ameritron rates their amp higher than the spec because they supposedly can control IMD and get away with it.

Jan 31, 2009 · I have the original M2000 16 pill, modified bias (regulated on a seperate 12V rail, can go up to 18 volts in to the amp, no bad effects on the transistors, other than my SWR cutout drops at SWR 2.0). It runs straight 16 x 2879s. It takes 130A to key it (at 300 watts output, it fires the breaker in my 70A power supply), and will pull 400A peak.

I built one for my buddy a late sk, he and i were dicking around with his station, switching stuff all around etc. we finally went to re key to test and we had really poor receive. We keyed the 16 pill and my locals were saying we sounded all fucked up. They could make us out but something was wrong.
