2017年10月1日 · The Food and Nutrition Research Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (FNRI-DOST) launched Pinggang Pinoy today. Pinggang Pinoy is a new, easy to understand food guide that uses a familiar food plate model to convey the right food group proportions on a per-meal basis, to meet the body’s energy and nutrient needs of Filipino adults.

Pinggang Pinoy: Go!Glow! Grow! Pinggang Pinoy (Filipino Plate) is a visual tool developed by the Food and Nutrition Research Institute of the Department of Science and Technology to help Filipinos acquire healthy eating habits.

The DOH and FNRI, along with other government agencies, continuously come up with ways to promote good health and nutrition among Filipinos. One of their most significant programs with regard to nutrition is the “Pinggang Pinoy” (Filipino Plate).
