2008年3月31日 · Scorpion Rally Rear is on the Left. Scorpion Rally STR Rear on the RIGHT. Scorpion Rally Front on Left. Rally STR Front is on the Right. The Rally is a MUCH chunkier tire and wider areas between the lugs. The Rally STR has narrower areas between the lugs and the lugs themselves are wider to give a greater contact patch on the road.

2017年7月20日 · To get to my point, the Rally STR behaves like a knobby at slow speed (including pavement and off-road) and at some point as you get up to speed they turn into a sporty tire. It's highly unusual but also pretty damn fun. So, I wrestle the bars at parking lot speeds, and then the twisties are nice and smooth. Again, still on the Trailrider rear.

2023年10月8日 · I have used and like both the Awake Adventure and the Mitas E07. The Mitas is a bias ply tire, so if you think that is why you dislike the Dunlops, then they may not be right for you. I just finished the Avon Trail riders which I liked on road, but their grip off road was questionable. No experience with the Pirelli's

2018年1月7日 · The center strip is good for prolonging milage, but at a huge sacrifice for off road riding, especially any type of hill climb. I have put on as much as 4,000+ miles on both the STR and the TKC70. The Pirelli STR performs much better in wet weather and hard cornering, so still give it to the STR.

2018年7月2日 · They're not an offroad tyre, their carcass is too soft and is prone to punctures. They're as good as slicks in mud. I've had them on for 5000kms now (2500 of those fully loaded on a road trip last summer) and they look like they will easily make 10,000kms. People who say they won't probably confuse them with the Scorpion Rally - (non-STR version).

2022年2月25日 · Honestly, there is nothing really between them. The Karoo STR is louder on the road as it seems to find some harmonic thrum at certain speeds. But it handles slightly better too with more confidence when leant over. The Scorpion Rally STR is slightly quieter on road, but not as confidence aspiring.

2018年5月8日 · I think many think as Pirelli did bring the Scorpion Rally STR this non STR is a older version, but fact is the Scorpion Rally is a 50/50 tire and the Scorpion Rally STR is a 80/20 tire, a more street focused tire. STR=Street. So it's actually 2 different tires in the Pirelli offering.

2017年8月20日 · I originally had front steering wobbles on my 1290 between 60-80kph, and using the Pirelli Scorpion Trail II's amongst other things, I managed to fix this completely. The Trail II's were a great tyre. I got 12,500km out of them, F85%/R95% worn. The Rally STR's did not cause any steering problems whatsover. No steering wobbles of any sort, at ...

2024年3月5日 · Scorpion Rally STR are wonderfull street tyres with kind of a 30% offroad capabilities. When you reach 50% of wear forget to leave the tarmac. Scoprion Rally are 70% offroad, low mileage, high grip, high cost.
