Audio-frequency waveforms with synthesis frequencies from 10 Hz to 1 MHz and root-mean-square (rms) voltages up to 2 V are synthesized with the Josephson arbitrary waveform synthesizer (JAWS) system.

The re-alization of 10 V PJVS devices at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has given us the opportunity to completely redesign each component of the PJVS system, including audio-frequency bias electronics, control software, cryopackaging, cryoprobe, microwave generator, etc.
