Within the intrinsic bandgap of MoTe 2, we identify two sets of kagome bands, primarily originating from in-plane and out-of-plane Mo d-orbitals at MTB-loop edges and -vertices, respectively.

2025年1月30日 · Herein, we systematically investigated a series of transition-metal atoms (Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Ru, Rh, Pd and Ag) embedded MoTe 2 plane and edge single-atom catalysts (SAC, TM-MoTe 2) for HER performance by employing density functional theory calculations. All TM-MoTe 2 catalysts exhibit good thermodynamically and electrochemical stability.
