2020年9月8日 · Plombage, also known as extraperiosteal or extrapleural pneumonolysis, is a historical treatment method for cavitary tuberculosis of the upper lobes of the lungs. It was used in the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s prior to the introduction of effective antituberculous drugs, when treatment of tuberculosis consisted of rest, isolation, and proper nutrition.
