The PM-63 RAK (often incorrectly referred to as Ręczny Automat Komandosów —"commandos' hand-held automatic"; the name itself means cancer or crayfish in Polish) is a Polish 9×18mm submachine gun, designed by Piotr Wilniewczyc in cooperation with Tadeusz Bednarski, Grzegorz Czubak and Marian Wakalski. 2015年9月15日 · Poland’s response to the need for such a firearm was the introduction of the PM-63 “Commando’s Handheld Automatic” or RAK. Chambered in the common 9mm Makarov cartridge, the PM-63 is designed to be as compact as possible while stowed and yet be as controllable as possible when in use.

It is a relatively light and compact firearm originally issued as a select-fire pistol intended for close-quarters combat. It was significantly lighter and smaller than the contemporary Heckler & Koch MP5. The PM-63 is well balanced and can be fired from one hand, just like ordinary pistols.
