These coatings are used with fiberglass reinforcement as I understand it, because they cure very rigid, and have high stress during their rapid cure. In other words, this sounds like a fiberglass resin job. Use a respirator.

For flats, if someone asks, I usually steer people towards the knit rollers (superfab,50/50, Marathon, Avalon,etc.) because you can get a nice thick coat without having to worry so much about using the roller to get a nice smooth even finish.
