Okay, I had thought parts would be hard to find, but considering GM will produce parts for the time is a reassuring thought. Then again, it will only be a matter of time before GM snips the cord on supplying Pontiac parts because demand would be really low, and prices for parts will go up.

2022年7月3日 · Normal wear parts dont just disappear off the shelves for a car thats under 20 years old. Certain unique parts like something for the top mechanism might be a special order thing, but tie rods, struts, engine parts, etc are all still readily available.

2014年2月4日 · Don't forget to mention that the Colorado transmission although factory rated to 260hp/260tq it can actually handle around 400 safely. The aftermarket is loaded with goodies you just have to know where to look. DDM Works,ZZP, Hahn Racecraft, Solo Performance, Venom,GM Performance. And plenty of others. Don't sell the Sol/Sky short.

The solstice is awesome and sadly came at the end of Pontiac. Overall it's a good, sporty car and personally I would love to have one. They are not as fast around a track as a miata, but they are much more unique. Get it, enjoy it, live life like you want to be here. For extra giggles- take it out to an autocross event.

While it’s a variant of the ecotech platform, it’s completely different in displacement, build, positioning, etc, so performance parts for a cobalt won’t work on a solstice. For the types of 2 engines a solstice use, the only cars compatible are the Saturn Sky, Opal GT, and Polaris sling shot.
