Pooka are wardens of natural order with innate shapeshifting and magical powers. Fey creatures by birth, they feel more akin to animals as they often spend long periods of time in other forms; pooka are the wildest of the Fair Folk and often the most aggressive and territorial.

Phookas are tricksters and jokesters. They revel in playing tricks on unwary travelers, leading them on merry chases or getting them lost deep in the forest. They are not necessarily malicious, however some phooka do lean towards evil and murder.

Pookas pull pranks to get to know a person and stay near them to observe the results, invisibly perched on a shoulder or clinging to an article of Clothing.
