We invite you to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentation at ISBS 2024. The topic areas should be focused on Hemostasis or Oxygen Delivery. Abstracts should be a single page, with any graphs/images within the body of the document.

Posters are widely used in the academic community, and most conferences include poster presentations in their program. Research posters summarize information or research concisely and attractively to help publicize it and generate discussion.

Posters must be printed as A0 size (height of 1189mm and width of 841mm) in portrait format and suitable for mounting with pins or Velcro (mounting accessories will be provided). Posters should be in place before 9:00 on the day of the presentation and removed at the end of the day.

In addition to oral and poster research presentations, selected sports biomechanics topics are covered in-depth each year through special lectures. A special feature includes the Geoffrey Dyson lecture, presented by an outstanding scientist in sports biomechanics.

The 19th International Symposium on Blood Substitutes (ISBS) in 2024 in National Harbor, Maryland, at the gateway to Washington, DC, will champion a time honored tradition of biannual meetings held alternatively in Asia, North America and Europe, to highlight the advances in the science and development of blood substitutes.

Facilitating good scientific exchange for digital ISB poster presentation has been a major challenge. We welcome your creativity in presenting your poster! The purpose of the New Investigator Award (NIA) is to recognize new researchers and to encourage them to become productive members of ISBS by expanding the knowledge base of sports biomechanics through study and dissemination of information.
