Princess Anne managed to visit the two Unesco World Heritage Sites in Seychelles – the Vallée de Mai on Praslin, and Aldabra. She also made a short stop at the Botanical Gardens to see for herself the coco de mer tree planted by her father, the Duke of Edinburgh, on a visit in 1952.

2010年11月30日 · Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal, Princess Anne and her husband Vice Admiral Laurence landed in Seychelles this morning on an official three-day visit to the islands.

Princess Anne was seen off at Seychelles International Airport by Designated Minister Vincent Meriton and principal secretary for foreign affairs Maurice Loustau-Lalanne. She flew on a private jet to Assumption island for an onward helicopter trip to Aldabra.

The royal programme will include visits to Praslin and Aldabra to view Seychelles’ two Unesco World Heritage Sites, and Princess Anne will also meet the Seychelles Coast Guard and members of the European Union’s naval taskforce in the country.
