A 3,000-acre, human-made lake snaking its way through dusty landscapes, forests of gnarled juniper, and dramatic rock formations; there’s nowhere else quite like it in Central Oregon, and the natural wonders at the reservoir’s shore bring thousands of visitors to the area every year.

Jasper Point campground is one of two campgrounds at Prineville Reservoir State Park. Small and quiet, the park has 27 first-come, first-served campsites with electricity and water hook ups. The lake is just a short walk from the campsites, with some having waterfront views. Follow a 1¾-mile lakeside hiking trail to main campground.
