Bheki Mngomezulu was born and bred at Ingwavuma in rural far northern KwaZulu-Natal. He is a full Professor of Political Science and International Relations. He joined the Centre for the Advancement of Non-Racialism and Democracy (CANRAD), Nelson Mandela University, as new Director in January 2023.
