The conclusion to an 11-year story (arguably 16-year, because TIH was kind of a sequel to Ang Lee’s Hulk) is reduced to “18 months in the gamma lab”.

Think of Banner and Hulk as 2 distinct alters in a DID system (dissociative identity disorder, also known as multiple personality disorder, but that name has fallen out of fashion since it is a misnomer) So they are both fully formed identities that share a system, a body. Professor Hulk can be seen as a process in DID called integration.

2019年6月10日 · That would have worked well. Professor hulk snaps everyone back into existence. Then thanos shows up and hulk takes back control to fight him. Thanos vs Hulk part 2 takes place. Now there's no one that could safely use the gauntlet so tony sacrifices himself to stop thanos' army. Would have made iron man's death a bit more tragic and impactful.

2019年7月28日 · The fact that they didn’t allow Hulk to rage at all in the movie wasn’t what really bothered me the most (although it did - Professor Hulk still smashes in the comics). What bothered me the most is that it seems that the actual character of Hulk is now destroyed, utterly replaced by Banner’s consciousness.

And then like the penultimate episode sees her all wounded and down in the dumps (as most of these shows do) and he guides her. I like the idea that she-hulks control over her powers are what inspires hulk to become professor hulk.
