Wood stove in portable shanty?
2014年10月18日 · Last year I got a new Eskimo quickfish 6 last season and love it. We heated it with a single burner that sits atop a 20lb propane tank, when it got really cold we also kicked on the mr buddy heater. After a while I got tired of buying propane and always hoping you dont run out on the coldest of days.

After filling a tank, try to hold the 1 pound tank to refill valve tight until the valve is completely unscrewed to help prevent gas leaking at that connection. Check for leaks with soapy water in a spray bottle or use the leak detector sprays available.

2011年1月24日 · Anyone had a propane (11lb) develope a vapor lock? Last trip out my heater simply stopped working. OK, time to have it filled again. U Haul tried but said there was a bubble in it and it wont fill up and suggested I open the small valve on it to empty it. I took it home and put it in a warmer place for awhile and then it fired up again.

2009年2月23日 · Its really bad and last weekend I had to put out the fire so I could stay in the shack. I know I good draft because I can hear it sucking when I light the fire. Burns really good too. Anyway, any suggestions would be appreciated. I love my wood stove but am ready to yank it out this summer and convert to propane. Thanks guys.

2017年1月3日 · Has anyone encountered a problem starting their propane auger after letting it sit in the off season? I have and Eskimo HC40, and after changing the oil and putting on a tank I really had to pull hard to get the flywheel to spin. I was almost ready to lay it down and hold the bottom with my foot, but I was able to get it turned over standing up.
