If you're living your life in such a way that you hope to prove yourself, then you're cut off from your greater inner resources. Unfortunately, you cannot possibly prove that you didn’t use AI, but (exactly for this reason) I think the burden of proof is on your professor, and they currently lack any compelling evidence. So I would push back, maintain your stance, and take it to Dean if need be.

2023年4月11日 · The only problem is that I didn’t use AI at all. I wrote my essay on Word, and used the spellcheck feature they provide. I basically am receiving a 0 for something I didn’t do. Does anyone know how I can prove my innocence? All I have is the “version history” from my original essay which shows all the time stamps of when I wrote.

The textbook for my proof-writing class was essentially useless as it was an analysis book with a single chapter on proof-writing (it was Analysis with an Introduction to Proof by Lay). I used How to Prove It as a supplement and it quickly become my primary text. I wouldn't have made it through my proof-writing course without it.

Once I had been in a rigorous math course for a semester (linear algebra), I had a general idea of how to prove things, but over the winter break I had a quick skim over of the ideas of the book, and it made the proof techniques absolutely clear.
