They have a tendency to use their paws for things, specifically smacking. They’ll smack you, constantly. That’s the pyr paw. Mine smacks me for pets and attention. She also pouts a lot too if you’re not paying her enough attention. Mine eventually just climbs on top of me. I can almost hear him saying “TRY AND IGNORE ME NOW.”

2016年2月27日 · It's a BIG PAW and so you notice! You stop what you're doing for a minute, look at him and say "stop". This word means nothing to him. He knows his gesture has achieved his purpose. That's his reward. Once he has broken thru your resistance, he will continue to pressure you to fulfill his desire. Whatever it is.

2017年5月9日 · It's an attention device. Dogs and cats do it often. I had a horse that did it until we trained him not to. The pat you with a paw, and you give attention. Works most every time until you decide to retrain it.
