2017年4月27日 · The latest version of the Sky Go app for mobile devices is the Sky Q app to a certain extent. The code base of both these apps has now been merged together so that they both share the same code base. The idea of this is to hopefully fix faults quicker, speed up feature development and reduce the number of app which need supporting.

2024年4月15日 · There is no app on Sky. The only way to watch on a Sky box is the linear channels on Sky+ or Sky Q if you have taken out the subscription option to include it. There is nothing for Sky Glass or Stream. So at the moment the only app available is for Android devices and platforms, which includes Google TV and Fire TV.

The reality is, most homes probably have upgraded their TV's in other rooms to 4K, given how cheap some TV's are, now.

There are other options as Amazon drop the TV stick price, then Roku and Google TV stick/boxes also drop, so read reviews as these, also Apple TV boxes, have some good advantages, but also some disadvantages over a Fire or Q box.
