2021年9月14日 · With either the Q950 or Q750 make sure you select “small speaker” size in the audio setup on your receiver, this will keep your crossover sending the appropriate frequencies to the sub and prevent the floor standing speakers from pushing lower frequencies they shouldn’t.

The Q950 floorstanding speaker is an upgraded model, it is larger than the Q750 with larger tweeter and woofer drivers. As a result, the sound will be better with the Q950 even if it is not dramatic. If you seek deep and tight bass but do not have space for a subwoofer, then you can go with the KEF Q950 model.

2019年7月27日 · Make sure your amp can handle 4 Ohm loads, the Q950's have a 3.2 Ohm minimum impedance, the Q550's are 3.5, Q750's are 3.8. Future advice, get a better sub when you aren't in an apartment. Your current sub 'only' has an F3 point of around 30Hz, for movies you want to hit sub-20Hz.
