When reassembling, change the spring. Tuning to vastly increase the muzzle velocity and power of your QB78 air rifle! Muzzle energy increases from about 25 ft/lbs for a .22 caliber gun. Muzzle energy increases from about 22 ft/lbs for a .177 caliber gun. the effect is big enough when you are able to put a valve into a tube.

To easily convert your QB78 .22 Cal air rifle into PCP, you can just get a part below and install it on the gun, then pump the gun up with a handpump and there goes your PCP right away! Easy...

2015年11月13日 · You could convert a QB78 to a low pressure PCP by using a bulk fill tube cap, but the shot count would be pretty anemic by most standards. A full-blown 3000psi PCP conversion needs a new tube and other upgrades to be safe. From a value perspective, it's appeals mostly to those wanting to do a big bore conversion.

2021年9月27日 · I love my qb78 and have done a lot of work on her over the last year. I'm tired of buying co2 and would like to convert it to a PCP rifle. It has a long tube underneath which normally holds two 12 gram co2. I wouldn't mind keeping the ability to use co2. Would it be possible to add a side valve and inlet connector?

2022年1月12日 · Converting a straight OEM QB78 to PCP isn't worth it. I have a QB78 with an extended bulk tube that I filled to 1500 psi a couple of times to test it out. I maybe got 10-12 shots of decreasing velocity. If you really want to play that game, convert it to a pseudo QB79.

2009年6月9日 · To make it PCP, you'd need a thicker, stronger main cylinder, which really negates the reason you purchased a Co2 rifle in the first place. If you have any questions regarding the tuning, feel free to PM me, as I've done seven of them now, and it's fairly easy to go over the legal limit.

2011年3月25日 · dang...you can purchase two new QB78's for what one conversion kits costs. that's probably why they're getting hard to find. i pumped up my QB78 to 1800 psi HPA, just for one time...got nearly 900 fps from the .22 for ONE shot...pressure dropped like a rock after every shot...much too small of an air tank for HPA.
