2024年4月29日 · If you’re a Medicare beneficiary, you know that healthcare costs can quickly add up. These costs are especially noticeable when you’re on a fixed income. If you are a senior with a monthly income and total assets that are under a set limit, you might be eligible for the Qualified Medicare Beneficiary program, or QMB.

The QMB group provides Medicare coverage of Part A and Part B premiums and cost sharing to low-income Medicare beneficiaries (QMBs). In 2023, more than 8 million individuals (more than 1 out of 8 Medicare beneficiaries) were in the QMB group.
