File transfer speed between my laptop and QNAP is apparently limited to 11,5 MBps by my laptop. So I want to know if USB 3.0 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter can increase file transfer speed to 115 MBps.

The router theorically supports it, the cable is the one provided with the NAS but when I connect my laptop to the same router by cable and try to copy something fro or to the NAS, I don´t get the speed that it is suposed ...

2015年7月6日 · QFinder finds the NAS but says that it needs to be initialized. I've tried turning it on without the HDDs plugged in and it doesn't seem to make any difference. I plug in a single HDD but QFinder keeps saying "Hard Drive Missing" and doesn't detect them if I plug them in after or turn it on with the HDDs plugged in already. I have tried resetting the NAS but that made no difference either.

2015年2月28日 · Absolutely! Create NAS accounts for each and every member of your family. Setup identical username/password pairs on both the NAS and the client machines. (If these match then your users can access the NAS shares from their Windows PC's without having to provide a password every time they access the " shares " on the NAS).

2020年3月23日 · OK, I have googled, read manuals, I have searched QNAP.com, gone through Control Panel and Storage and Snapshots and I am unable to find out how to remount the volume after the file system check has completed successfully.
