SIGNAL REPORTS. A report on an FM Transceiver consists of a Readability (R) Report or QRK, together with the assessment of how much louder is the noise than the desired signal. If your receiver has an S-meter, a Signal Strength (S) Report or QSA can be given but should be followed by an assessment of the noise level.

To receive a QSL from a station, you need to send a "reception report" to the station giving information about what you heard, the reception conditions, and what you liked (or didn’t like) about their programming. A good reception report should include the following:

Use the Report Filter in Report Settings to limit the number of cards that appear in the Call list. You can limit the contacts by date, number, or QSL sent/received data. When "P" has been entered in the QSL Sent field for a contact, you can have CommCat convert that "P" to "Y" when the card is printed.
