The QUT Aerospace Society (QUT Aero) is a student-based society with a shared passion for all things Aerospace. We are primarily a project-based club providing opportunities in Space (CubeSat), Rocketry, Multi-Rotor, and Fixed-Wing Aircraft – If you’ve got an Aerospace project idea, we want to hear it!

Mar 17, 2025 · Learn everything there is to know about aerodynamics, aircraft control systems, avionics navigation and communications, and aircraft and satellite system design. Get hands-on experience through exclusive work placements and research projects with industry leaders such as Boeing, Airbus and the Department of Defence.

The welcome night for semester one 2024 is being held on Thursday 29th of February at 6 PM in S920 located on Gardens Point in S Block. No booking or tickets are necessary, simply arrive and enjoy the evening. Welcome nights are held at the start of each semester and serve as an introduction to the club as a whole alongside our events and projects.

The QUT Aerospace Society hosts a range of social and industry-oriented events throughout the year.
