2019年3月29日 · However we also got a picture just a few months ago showing what is likely a schematic of the new assault rifle, which when slightly reoriented shows the silhouette of a rifle whose overall configuration and broad features looks like it is consistent with CS/LR17 (both old and new) as well as the pictures of the competitor rifles that we saw originally.

2019年3月29日 · We saw the QST11 for sure in 17 and started hearing about the QBZ191 and saw prototypes off and on post 2010. QST-11 probably wasn’t cheap to develop. It seems like what may have happened is the PLA took batches for trails of 95-1 but found them lack luster.

2019年3月29日 · If QBZ191 was issued the same way it would be a heavyweight as well. We don’t have a firm weight yet on the Type 191 but 7.8 loaded is about the norm for a intermediate cartridge rifle not pulling automatic rifle double duty or firing Fury. Then we add a can that’s another 1.2 pounds, then a 2 pound optic that’s easily 11 pounds.

2019年3月29日 · Honestly don't see the point with upgrades to the qbz191 the handguard and butt stock holds up well and the recoil of the qbz191 isn't high either unlike the AR-15 which needs proper CQB Stance during close range encounters if anything MLOK Urgi is just some beauty contest bullshit for the qbz191 rather than having some use for it.

2019年3月29日 · I wasn’t really pointing to the drum specifically. QBB95 and QBZ95, QBZ191 and QBU 191 are generally speaking just Heavy barrel iterations. The magazine well is the same the only major difference is the longer heavier barrel. Same general concept as the Aug HBAR, L86A1, the XM8/Mg36, even (ignoring receiver reinforcements) the RPK series.

2019年3月29日 · What do you mean "it was the qbz191 handguard and not qbu191"? Isn't the handguard in the picture just the same handguard we've seen before which we've had an image (tan version) and also a patent of? (and designed for standard QBZ-191, which is why it has the front cutout at the handguard for the gas block/adjsuter)
