QDX is suitable only for single tone FSK modes, which covers the majority of digital modes in use today. This includes everything in WSJT-X (except MSK144), JS8Call, some fldigi modes e.g. RTTY, Olivia and more.

2022年11月8日 · I recently built the QRP Labs QDX transceiver, which is a remarkable little radio, designed for FSK modes (FT8, JS8, WSPR, etc.) on the 80-20 meter ham bands. This rig has some very clever design inside.

2023年1月18日 · I ordered my QDX kit back in May 2022. It arrived in June, I assembled it and ran some tests at home. It worked well on FT8 into my home antennas. It interfaces nicely with WSJT-X and I liked the idea of using a low power transceiver to band hop on WSPR. My QDX is an early four band version, which does 20, 30, 40 & 80 meters.

2023年6月28日 · The QDX can only do FT8 and similar modes. The (tr)uSDX can do essentially all modes. You have to connect both to some type of device, so even though the QDX is physically smaller, both need a second device.

2023年2月21日 · It is being reported on the QRP Labs forum, that some have got the little smart QDX digital transceiver communicating with the FT8CN app. The rig is noticed straight away by FT8CN using an OTG USB lead and a minimum of configuring. The QDX and a small phone or tablet, allow true FT8 portable operating with minimum hardware to cart around.
