Dr. Qingyu Chen is a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the Department of Biomedical Informatics & Data Science, School of Medicine, starting in 2024. Prior to this, he completed the postdoctoral training at the National Center for Biotechnology Information, National Library of Medicine, National Institutes of Health.

Qingyu Chen's research focuses on artificial intelligence and data science for healthcare and biomedicine, including but not limited to biomedical text mining and information retrieval, medical image analytics and multimodal analysis, AI-assisted healthcare applications, and biocuration.
