The QJ (Chinese: 前进; pinyin: Qián Jìn; lit. 'To go forward" or "to advance') was a type of heavy freight steam locomotive introduced in 1956 by the China Railway. The majority were built by Datong Locomotive Factory.

Iowa Interstate Railway No. 7081 is a QJ class 2-10-2 "Santa Fe" type steam locomotive built by the Datong Locomotive Works in 1986 for the Ji Tong Railway of China. Today, it is located at the Central States Steam Preservation Association. It is operational, but is only used for special excursion services.

After withdrawal from active service, three Chinese QJ-class locomotives were imported to the United States. QJclass #6988 and #7081, both last used on the Jitong Railway, are currently owned by the Iowa Interstate Railroad ( AAR reporting marks IAIS).
