2019年3月6日 · Pololu QTR-8RC vs QTR-8A Sensor Array. Pololu offered, until recently two different eight sensor arrays, the QTR-8RC and the QTR-8A. The RC array uses an RC circuit and capacitor decay time to determine a reflectance amount whereas the A array uses a voltage divider to determine a reflectance amount.

2017年3月26日 · When using a microcontroller with a 10-bit ADC like an Arduino, this limits the reading to 1024 values, whereas the QTR-8RC sensors work by measuring how long it takes the output voltage to decay due to the integrated phototransistor. The 5V regulator on the A-Star 32U4 Micro can output around 100mA; however, about 25mA is used by the board itself.

Both the QTR-8A and QTR-8RC have the same physical characteristics. Each array measures 2.95" long by 0.50" wide and has a maximum thickness of approximately 0.125". Without header pins, the unit weighs 0.11 oz (3.1 g). The individual reflectance sensors are distributed evenly on the board at 0.375" intervals.
