2013年11月10日 · Otherwise far as I have read, the 151f is the only R-series that has a tail housing that will bolt up to a gear driven tcase. Did you get the rear housing too? Edit: nevermind I see the tail housing now.

2016年4月15日 · I have an'06 Hilux 1kd-ftv engine and r151f trans i am swapping into my '88 4Runner. Currently the 4Runner has an R150f with Inchworm adapter for the R1FA t-case. I'd like to keep the adapter and tail housing to swap onto the r151f.

2017年8月18日 · The R151F transmission I am most familiar with is the Turbo trans that came in the 1986 and 1987 Turbo Pickups. This trans has a bellhousing that mounts to the 22R(E)(T) series engines and a tailhousing that mounts to the RF1A gear-driven transfer cases commonly found in the 1979 - 1995 Pickups.

2023年10月24日 · This same coupler worked for my 2006 Hilux r151f transmission to adapt the RF1A. I did make a new adapter plate since the old tail housing on the r150 is different then the r151 YotaAtieToo

2015年12月1日 · All R series gears, ax15 tail and housing. Small spacer had to be turned for one journal was deeper. Easy swap.. the .79 of the AX15 will only be about 100RPM lower depending on diff ratio/tire size.

2019年1月4日 · Long story short, a 79-series R151f would work, but would require a new transmission crossmember, extended transfer shift linkage, and modified driveshafts. A 22RTE R151f would bolt straight in with your transfer adapter and transfer case.
