2022年3月14日 · The R155 is from a 2007 Tacoma with the 2.7L engine and 2WD. The R150 has the correct input shaft but is slightly more expensive. It has a stiffer first gear. This transmission was behind the 3.4L in 96+ 2WD Tacomas. If you go the R155 route, you can keep the original input shaft to align the clutch plates during installation.

2018年6月3日 · For what it's worth, the R155 was only used on the 2005-2015 Tacoma. There are no manual 2016+ 2WD Tacomas, only 4WD (and only for 2016-2017, and it's an R156F). The 2005-2015 R155 is very similar to the updated R154 used in the JZX100/110.

2023年2月2日 · Im swapping a 2jz ge non vvti na-t into my 280zx, and i went the R155 route for a transmission. Of course theres a little work to be done on it to allow it to bolt up, one thing being the R150 10" input shaft replacement. i have the front cover off and took took off the snap ring holding the shaft in, but its not coming out, at least easily.

2022年1月3日 · Currently in the market for a MKIV Supra. Can only find ones in my area that have an automatic transmission. I found a guy who has what seems like an okay V160 (full kit) for sale. Is it worth doing the swap (provided it's made with quality) or should I stay away from doing a swap and just wait around for one that is manual from factory?

2021年4月27日 · A stock 1UZ makes these cars really fun to drive and there are parts out there for them. In fact I personally think its easier to find 1UZ parts than for specific parts for the Celica Supra. You're going to get more power easier out of a 2JZ turbo or an LS swap. However, that also means more expensive as it will lead to more things breaking easier.
