2013年11月23日 · So I was wondering has anyone put a R150 or R155 tranny behind a 2jz and can they handle any power? Around here its easier to find a truck tranny. From my research it seems like you can use a 1jz bell housing with either those 2 or the r154 transmission.

2003年2月8日 · If you can get the 2j with its bellhousing it should bolt straight up to the R150F. It was going to cost me the same money for just the manual bellhousing to suit the 2j as it was going to cost for a complete motor over here in Aus.

2015年7月9日 · Don't you mean the r150 or r151? the r155 is for 2nd gen tacomas. I know that the r151s will in fact bolt right up to the 2jz and probably the 1jz with the r154 bellhousing so long as you get an early year one from a tacoma. Input shaft should fit fine. Guy on here slapped a 2jz into his 98 tacoma that way with no issues and still has 4wd.
