VR6 vs. R32 : r/Volkswagen - Reddit
2015年4月30日 · My 2003 gti vr6 and a 2004 r32. Both are very similar motors. I've raced my friend who was driving my gti while I was driving my R, and the R definitely pulls a bit harder and is more torquey.
The difference between R32, R33, and R34 GTRs. : r/cars - Reddit
The first major change was aerodynamics. The R32 GT-R, like many street cars, has a positive coefficient of lift on the front of the car. This means that as speed increases, the front tires unload. Part of this is because air that went into the engine bay for cooling doesn’t have a way out of the engine bay, which causes the lifting effect.

2023年7月7日 · R32 Skyline Engine Question Setup/ Tune So I’ve used both the 4.4l V8 and the Forged I6, and both are hella good for it, but I’m not sure which is better in racing, I wasn’t sure about the I6 until I threw something unexpected on...traction control.

2021年8月31日 · If this is venting into the engine bay it's going to create a potential fire hazard. Engine blowby needs to be managed carefully in a turbo engine, oil and fuel spitting into the engine bay are not just things to shrug off past a certain point. Are R32's reliable? : r/Volkswagen - Reddit
2023年7月4日 · That said, the VR6 engine is a rock solid engine. The issues are mostly two things I’ve seen while driving two VR6 vehicles - timing chains/chain guides and the stupid coil packs. Other than that, usually no major issues. In the end, recommend a pre-buy inspection from a disinterested third party that knows VWs.
R32 is it reliable? : r/Volkswagen - Reddit
2023年6月19日 · I've definitely heard that the R32 DSG is more reliable than the GTI/GLI ones, presumably due to lower low-end torque, so it shifts easier almost all the time. But I dunno if I agree with you on the wet vs dry clutch thing. mk5/6 and similar era wet clutch DSGs are well known to almost always grenade by 200k miles.
R32 GTR RB26DETT engine vs R34 GTT rb25DET engine. : r/SkyLine …
2022年1月17日 · Yes r34 rb26 is better than R32 rb26 mainly because of the longer oil pump drive makes oiling more reliable at higher rpms but if its only a street car and you don't spend much time near the limiter it won't really matter anyway.
Need insight about buying a mk5 R32 : r/GolfGTI - Reddit
2023年6月10日 · The plan is, keep driving my mk3 while I get the R32 gearbox sorted, then take the mk3 off the road for restoration while I daily the R32. I'm personally not a fan of the mk5 platform or that second R32 chassis, so I'm planning to (eventually) gut it and run the engine/driveline (with Syncro rear end) and full electronics into my mk3.
