This R33 GT-R is now offered in Rancho Dominguez, California, with recent service records and a clean Montana title. The R33 LM Limited was launched in 1996 to commemorate Nissan’s participation in that year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Weighing in at 1150 kg and with 400 bhp on tap, two NISMO entered R33 GT-R LMs lined up for the 1995 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In the classic endurance race the two Nissans faced off against the McLaren F1 and Ferrari F40, which dominated the GT1 class for pace.

Nissan built 2 LM race cars (these are museum items) and decided to run a special version of their R33 GTR platform to commemorate their participation in the LeMans race. These cars started as normal R33 GTR models and five specific changes were made before leaving Nissan.
