Jan 11, 2005 · the r34 GTR is not putting down 330hp at the wheels, stock. it is putting down 290-300hp at the flywheel. the M3 has around 360hp. AWD is ultimately inferior, but it is piss easy to drive therefore most normal drivers would be quicker in the GTR. a good driver should be quicker in the M3. i still like the skyline more. the difference is this.

Dec 4, 2002 · I know my 156 2.5 was shorter- and trust me it had 2 times the leg room and similar performance to the R34 non-GTR- for roughly the same price (If you compare two models of same year/mileage) not to mention it is better to drive and looks 1,000,000 times better, don't even start me on how much better the induction noise is.

"From a previous post" These are times of the stock GTRs, notice something about the R32 times, they are quicker:) You can drift with GTRs, I have seen it. It just works better with the 4wd system disconnected, but it is doable.

Sep 25, 2001 · I own a R34 GTR Vspec 2 in HK. If you are 23, don't even have to think about getting the insurance for this car. All the Skyline are black listed by the insurance companies. I didn't expect that when I bought my car. I am 29 and my driving record would suppose to deserve 60% discount on the insurance.

Oct 26, 2003 · Oh if you want a GTR buy a GTR it will be a huge expencive job to convert it. GTR's have a different motor, Attessa AWD, Hicas AWS, wide body etc etc etc and all computers, looms etc that go with it. You would basically be gutting the car and starting again. Mick.

Dec 1, 2001 · Rated at the same horsepower. It's bollocks. The figures I've seen most commonly, are close to 300 hp for the R32, 310 for the R33, and 320 for the R34. The R34 25GTt (2.5L single turbo) is rated at 206 kW, just as the R34 GTR is. :confused: I don't think so, Tim. The Japanese lie about the power of cars like that.

But as far as body panels, lights and what not, I've already got those. I've thought about importing but after looking into it, it's just way to expensive. Thanks for your opinion everyone!!!
